Support for a Church

We want to introduce the Ea Rok Catholic church, Dak Lak province in Vietnam, led by Father
Nguyen Van Thien. This church is in a rural, remote area of Dak Lak province. Currently, it has
about 400 parishioners, mainly the Jarai and Bana ethnic people, who live primarily in agriculture
and have impoverished lives. Only one crop can be grown a year during the rainy season. The
main crops are short-term crops, including rice and corn. During the lean season, our parishioners
are often hungry, waiting for the rain to come to prune and plant crops. There are no factories or
businesses in this area and no jobs.
